God's purpose for our lives is to
      make us like Christ.

This is how you give your life to Christ

      1. Don't forget to Pray
      2. Don't forget to read the Bible
      3. Don't overlook little sins
      4. Don't rationalize little sins
      5. Don't be flippant about spiritual issues
      When you do this:
      (1) the Holy Spirit takes up residence in you.  The Holy Spirit gives you the power to do what God wants.
      (2) once inside, the Holy Spirit changes you from the inside out.
      (3) this change makes you more Christ like.
      (4) you desire to obey God and serve others.  God changes your desires which makes you want to do God's Will when you yield control over to Him.
      (5) Wanting to do God's Will gives you hope because God is working for change in your life when you find yourself yielding control to Him.
      (6) Always ask God for strength.

God does not force you to obey Him -
He leaves that choice up to you.
